Cp-CAP

The CAP of the pulp: Zinc oxide eugenol cement with calcium hydroxide for maintaining the vitality of endangered dental pulp and for attaching temporaries (2 components for individual mixing)

Yes is printed on the folding box (powder 4 260097 033046, solution 4260097 033039).

Yes, available as a service from lege artis: in German and English (available as a PDF file at “www.legeartis.de”).

You can find all the latest publications and information about our products on our website: www.legeartis.de. We always provide you with the latest content there.

Cp-CAP powder and solution are each stable for 3 years from the date of manufacture (see information on label and FS).

Yes; Cp-CAP is slightly more visible than enamel (200% Al) or is in the range of gutta-percha (300% Al).

Tip: warm slightly (body temperature); mix with a little more powder or a little less liquid.

Expiry date exceeded; wrong components mixed; bottles mixed up? If not, have unexpired material checked by the manufacturer.

The ratio is 6:1, i.e. 6x powder, 1x solution.

It is recommended to use a glass plate for mixing or a coated mixing block. Other mixing blocks may absorb liquid and may unbalance the mixing ratio.

ORBAT forte

The forte prep cleaner: 20 % Aluminium sulfate solution for gingival retraction, for simple and precise impression-takings

Yes; is printed on the folding box (4 260097 033367).

Yes, available as a service from lege artis: in German and English (available as a PDF file at “www.legeartis.de”).

3 years from production (see information on label and folding box).

ORBAT forte contains 20% iron(III) sulphate and is a viscous, yellowish-brown solution (liquid gel).
ORBAT sensitive contains 25% aluminum sulfate and is an aqueous and colorless solution.
However, unlike ORBAT sensitive, it is not colorless and must be rinsed out of the sulcus to prevent discoloration of the gums and teeth or the restoration.

Yes, it has a retracting effect on the gingiva and reduces the exudation of the sulcus fluid (reduces the sulcus fluid flow rate).

All retraction solutions with iron salt solutions have a similar taste. This can only be changed slightly by adding flavoring.

Rinse immediately with plenty of water. Ideally, use an eye wash bottle. If necessary (and to be on the safe side) consult a doctor or ophthalmologist afterwards.

The stains should be treated like rust stains.

No special opening period required, corresponds to the expiry date on the folding box and label.

3 years from production (see information on label and folding box).

ORBAT sensitive contains 25% aluminum sulfate and is an aqueous solution. ORBAT forte contains 20% iron(III) sulphate and is a viscous solution (liquid gel). In contrast to ORBAT forte, however, it is colorless and tasteless and does not discolor gums, teeth or restorations.

ORBAT sensitive should normally be stored in the original bottle and only removed for immediate use. ORBAT sensitive is a salt solution. In open containers, the loss of moisture can lead to the formation of salt crusts. This can be prevented by changing the solution in the Medi dispenser daily, for example. Further tips: New glass containers are less prone to crystallization of salt solutions than old ones due to their still smooth glass walls. The spout of the Medi dispenser can be sealed with a small silicone stopper or cover when not in use to prevent it from drying out.

Rinse immediately with plenty of water. Ideally, use an eye wash bottle. If necessary (and to be on the safe side) consult a doctor or ophthalmologist afterwards.

No. Due to the high aluminum sulfate concentration of 25 %, the solution is not susceptible to microorganisms.

Allergic reaction to aluminum compounds possible. Aluminum sulfate can lead to slight exfoliation of the mucosal epithelium.

Do not use on patients with an allergy to aluminum compounds.

ORBAT forte is recommended.

ORBAT sensitive

“For me, there is no alternative to ORBAT sensitive”

A field report by Dr. med. dent. Steffen Biebl from Würzburg In our large practice with a total of seven dentists, we have tried almost everything to stop bleeding before taking impressions. In the end, however, we always ended up with the classic thread with ORBAT sensitive. Our dental staff

The pulp ProTECTOR: Calcium hydroxide suspension for protecting the dental pulp (open dentine tubules)

Yes, it is printed on the folding box (4 260097 033107).

Yes, available as a service from lege artis: in German and English (available as a PDF file at “www.legeartis.de”).

Tip 2 (more convenient): First hold it in the ultrasonic bath for 1-3 minutes, then shake it up.

Recommendation: Take the desired amount with a pipette.

No; TECTOR should only be used for conventional cementation/fixation (e.g. with phosphate cement).

In all cases in which adhesive bonding is subsequently required. In case of allergies to one of the ingredients.

If possible, wipe up immediately with e.g. cellulose cloth; absorb residual amount with solvent (e.g. ethanol); never wipe off with water!

Yes; however, it is possible that the impression material does not set completely. The application of TECTOR should be repeated before cementation, as the covering layer formed may be incomplete due to impression taking and the cleaning required before cementation.

Yes, provided there is no allergy to any of the ingredients.

Once thinly with a brush.

Soothes the pulp after grinding and prevents grinding trauma.
Seals open dentinal tubules in one working step.
Space-saving underfilling for shallow cavities, maintains the accuracy of fit for subsequent restorations.
