Outstanding research: ENDODONTIE journal awards prestigious prize to Dr. Holger Jungbluth from the University of Bonn

The specialist journal ENDODONTIE from Quintessenz awards an annual prize for an outstanding scientific, internationally published publication from a German-speaking university.

Excellent research

This year, the journal honored Dr. Holger Jungbluth from the University of Bonn for his groundbreaking study. The award-winning research paper entitled “Expression profiling of S100 proteins in healthy and irreversibly inflamed human dental pulps”. The prestigious prize, endowed with a total of 2,250 euros, received generous support from Quintessenz, lege artis and Komet, who each contributed 750 euros.

The official announcement of the winner was made in the current issue of ENDODONTIE (No. 3/23), with the generous sponsors and their respective amounts being explicitly named. The award ceremony and symbolic cheque were presented at the DGET annual conference in Munich on November 24.

ENDODONTIE and its partner companies continue to actively promote and recognize outstanding research achievements in the field of endodontics. The award not only recognizes the achievements of Dr. Jungbluth, but also underlines the importance of innovative scientific work for the dental community.
