Willospon DENTAL promotes primary and secondary hemostasis.

Principle: Contact between the platelets in the blood and the collagen fibers of the sponges leads to increased activation and aggregation of platelets and the formation of a white thrombus (hemostasis, primary hemostasis). With the help of a number of coagulation factors in the body, blood coagulation then begins, which leads to the formation of a red thrombus (secondary hemostasis), a stable vascular occlusion that enables tissue regeneration.
